Location by the beach is fantastic, making it easy to enjoy bar crawls and mini golf nearby. The room felt dated and needed a thorough cleaning. Can't recommend for a long stay, but a quick getaway might work.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay due to the fantastic proximity to many attractions; the ferry for Mackinac Island is just a short 5-minute walk away, and we were also close to great restaurants and shopping, with places like Mackinaw Pastie & Cookie Co just a few steps away and the Mackinaw Bridge Museum only about 1.1 kilometers from our door, making our weekend strolls so enjoyable, while our clean room had a beautiful view and very friendly staff who were always ready to help us out, but some amenities could use a little updating to match the stunning area around us.

The beachfront view from our room was stunning, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast options were quite limited and could use improvement. Mini golf nearby was a fun way to spend the day.

The location is perfect for hopping over to the ferry or hitting the local shops. I loved the beach access and the friendly staff who made us feel welcome.
The pool area could use a good scrub.

The room was nicely clean and comfortable, with plenty of blankets available. Temperature control worked well, maintaining a cozy environment. noise levels were an issue; sounds from adjacent rooms could be heard clearly, which disrupted our peace. Some aspects needed attention, like the wobbly table and missing carpet fibers. The bathroom lighting was dim, and the TV felt out of place. The musty smell in the room detracted from cleanliness. Despite these, the location near Lake Huron was delightful, providing easy beach access and a quick walk to restaurants and shops.

Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront offers stunning scenic views and a nice pool area. The charm of the old furniture adds character, but the property shows signs of neglect. Guests should expect basic amenities and a limited breakfast experience, so plan accordingly for a comfortable stay.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff with clean rooms and a great location that made it easy to explore the city and enjoy the nearby attractions.
The jacuzzi in our room was not the same as the one pictured online, which was a bit disappointing.

Great beach access and comfy beds. Wi-fi was very poor in the room.

The family suite was spacious and inviting, making us feel right at home! The indoor pool and jacuzzi were such a hit after our long drive. And that breathtaking view from the deck? Pure magic! 🌅
Couldn't recommend more! ❤️✨

The spacious suite with two bathrooms was great, and the pool was a nice touch. check-in was frustratingly delayed, and the manager's lack of transparency was disappointing. While the breakfast was decent, the noise from housekeeping was intrusive, making relaxation difficult. The location was ideal for lake views, but the beach area left much to be desired. A little more attention to detail could turn this place into something truly special.

Walking distance to all attractions, lake view balcony, relaxing atmosphere. The gym with a tanning bed was a nice touch.
Couldn't enjoy the filthy hot tub and non-existent breakfast. Service?

Ideal location. Convenient access to ferries, restaurants, and a nearby mini-mart. The balcony view of the lake was a highlight. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the decor felt old-fashioned. The pool and jacuzzi offered a nice respite, though the cleanliness left something to be desired. The laundry room was reasonably priced. Staff were friendly but communication could improve; announcing personal matters in a crowded lobby is unprofessional. Several maintenance issues were concerning. Poor lighting, thin walls, and plumbing problems diminished our comfort. Breakfast options were minimal and misleading. A deep clean is overdue. Value for price was not aligned. Potential with improvements, but approach with caution.

The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast selection was decent with hot options and fresh fruit.
It was on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality.

The front desk staff were super rude and acted like they were doing us a favor. Plus, we couldn’t access our room until 4 PM due to some power issue. Total frustration!

i had an awesome time at Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront. the location was perfect, right on the lake with many attractions within walking distance. the breakfast was pretty good and the hotel was not extremely busy. the staff were excellent and very friendly. our room had a beautiful lake view and the private patio on the beach to lake Huron was amazing. the suite was massive and comfortable, with a separate area for grandparents and a king, queen, and pull-out couch. all at a reasonable price compared to other options in the area.
Everything is what i need and want 😊

My friends and I had a blast at Mackinac Island and the Mackinac Island ferry boats - such cool, sparkling water views! The Straits of Mackinac sights were lit too!
We could have used some more fun party spots for our young crew.

Exploring Mackinaw City Ferry Terminal and teeing off at Animal Tracks Adventure Golf offered our family unforgettable fun with gorgeous views and cool water. The sights and sounds of the Straits of Mackinac dazzled us.
My kids wished for a larger breakfast selection.

The heating in our room was a bit inconsistent, leading to some discomfort during the night. While the air conditioning worked well, we wished there were more control options in the bedroom. the tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, perfect for enjoying a warm drink while overlooking the beautiful terrace. we found the patio furniture to be a bit worn out and not very comfortable for relaxing. The rooms were not very soundproofed, and we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms quite clearly. Although the garden furniture was lovely, we would have appreciated free toiletries in the room for added convenience. One thing we loved was the presence of an AM/FM alarm clock, a small detail that made waking up easier. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment, but we noticed that the carpeted floors could use a thorough cleaning. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping the room tidy, but laundry services were a bit lacking in terms of efficiency. our stay at Hamilton Inn had its ups and downs.

Located right across from the beautiful Lake Huron, offering picturesque views. The breakfast was satisfying and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown shops, making it convenient to explore the area.
Some TVs didn't work, and the breakfast options were limited to a water, granola bar, and an apple, which was disappointing. The check-in process was a bit disorganized, with our room not being ready on time, leading to a long wait for the keys.

Man, talk about a comfy bed and a killer beachfront view, right? The beds were like sleeping on clouds, and being right on the beach made me feel like a true vacationer. Plus, the staff at the front desk was super sweet and welcoming , a definite plus after a long drive to this place.
Now, let me spill the tea on the breakfast situation. Picture this: chaos.
